Our historian, Monroe Manning, would like to return to those 'thrilling days of yesteryear' and record and document your personal stories while assigned to the 17th or any 17th related unit. By way of example, your story can revolve around or relate to such subjects as: who were your buddies in the unit; where did you live; what is your worst/best memory; what type of equipment did you use/work on; who was the person you looked up to in the unit; what field exercises or real world deployments did you participate in; any paymaster incidents, etc.
