Newsletters: 100 paper newsletters printed Aug 09 - 90 sent. Very few change of address issues as of yet. 131 email newsletters sent out. Following up to ensure all emails received.

Membership: 221 active members with 11 dues issues being chased (almost 1 year overdue).

Membership Drops: For reasons noted, recommend the following individuals be removed from the active rolls (list goes back to last BOD):

2. Albert Belardia, Dues expired 03/08. Emails sent in Aug 08 and Jan 09 along with newsletter notices. No contact.

2010 Mix and Mingle Notes: for Thursday night.

1. Welcome to the 24nd year of the Association.
a. We have several new members who have never attended a reunion before. I would like to ask for them to stand/wave, be recognized Anyone else? And welcome to our family members - . Thanks for joining us in our time for friendship and some good conversation (and probably lies!).
2. Admin Announcements:
a. Everyone should have a copy of the schedule. But I will hightlight a couple things here for you as well.
b. Hospitality Room being run by ________________ - Place, room #
c. There are several folks who have not completed all their paperwork for this reunion - please see Sam before she hunts you down. Dues need to be paid, registration waivers signed, and new members need to fill out proper paperwork.
d. Open bar with a tab until that runs out courtesy of _____________
e. Chaplain Autrey is looking for folks to participate in the Memorial Service - if you want to help honor one of our friends at the service on Saturday right after the General Membership meeting, please see Emmett.
f. Our Historian, Monroe Manning, is taking oral histories - please see him to share your stories so our unit histories can be fleshed out.
g. If you would like a DRAFT history of the 17th - Sam's latest version is up to over 150 pages now - includes the WWII era, the Aviation Section History and takes the 17th through all three deactivations at 2006. See Sam .
h. Also see Sam if you have a good bit of dirt on anyone she can use for the punch bowl ceremony!
i. Please take digital photos and share them with Don Roupe who will be our "official" combat camera man for this reunion. Don and Sam will be putting together the memory book this year - so let them know if you have any goodies for the book - Before the banquet on Saturday Don will be taking pictures of each of the attendees and of groups - we will want to have the new officers in a group photo, as well as the 17th Guys and Gals of the 50s, 60s and 90s, the 102nd group, and any other group you would like.

In consideration of the 17th Signal Battalion Association accepting my application to voluntarily at-tend the Association Reunion, I hereby acknowledge and understand that certain risks may arise as a result of my participation in these events. According, I , the undersigned member/guest, assume any and all risks which may be associated with these events wherever they may occur. I hereby waive and release all cause of action(s) and claims for damages of any nature whatsoever which I may have against the 17th Signal Battalion Association and any other related organization(s) such as the United States Government, their officers, directors or employees arising out of or connected with, any participation in the reunion related activities.
